I am not a professional photographer, this is just a hobby of mine. I love dark, moody, foggy images, empty roads and paths, decay but also saturated summer images. I do not have a style that i keep and you can see this in my portfolio, which is all over the place. I also like to experiment a lot, always oscillating between under-saturated and super-saturated, between too much or too little. I only use Tiffen DFX for post processing. I love Photoshop but only for photo-manipulations.

What if you kneel down and take the photo a bit upwards? Try all kinds of different angles.
You've got the atmosphere, now you need an exciting composition. With perhaps a suitcase or a silhouette of a person or an arm or I don't know what.

@Blikvanger: I know.. but you see I took some of the train pictures from a moving train, it was very foggy and the window was very dirty.. I was shocked when i downloaded then that they were so clear considering the bad conditions and the fact that I have an old olympus... I have others that are not taken from a moving train with lots of different angles and perspectived! thank you for your nice comment!

mE from Middle Franconia, near Nürnberg, Germany

Again a great photo from your railway series.

The picture tells me:
always forwards, but unfortunately we don't see where we're going.
Like a mirror in the present time.
Your editing fits to it and supports the whole thing.
